Completed elements for SCENE 1

I've now produced the scenery and completed his wardrobe.

I minimised the amount of work I need to do, I've created an evil collar for my character which I think is effective enough to do the job, I'll look into clothing a character some other time. Basically I could go on forever adding bits and improving but at the end of the day I want to get something complete so as to move on to the next project. The whole thing is one big research and learning process which is what slows everything down and I know my next venture will provide me with even more of this so not to worry, this is after all the first time I produced anything to this level.

Not to mention the second and third scenes I still need to set up.

Anyway, pleased with how it looks so far. Just need to focus on the dialogue now.

Body Paint

I'm just in the middle of a spare week and have been messing around in C4D Body Paint for the first time. Been trying to follow some tutorials to enable me to split my head mess up in a more manageable manner but it seems my mess is more complicated than that of the tutorial so i didn't really get very far on that method.

A combination of material textures and spraying onto the character with an airbrush tool seems to get close to what I want although you're not 100% on control where the brush wants to spray in two places at once due to the way I've created the mesh I guess.

So, the things I've achieved so far this summer:
1- Added Jiggle to the nose and eyebrows
2 - Animated expressions using a set of morphs
3 - Coloured up the skin using Body Paint

What's next:
1 - Create his gown
2 - Draw up the scenery
3 - Record the dialogue
4 - Piece the animation together syncing it to the dialogue

I want to get this sorted in the next 3 weeks so I can focus in my ideas for next year.

Vince Carp Extraordinaire!!!

I've just about finished setting the facial expressions for my continuing animation. Textures are still to be finalised (and I need to study a few tutorials before I can apply these properly) but I'm not worried about these until the end.

So for now I introduce to you a taste of the recently named "Vince Carp"...

The next stage for me is to create his evil emperors gown as an item of clothing over his previously rigged body.
