Flip Stings Competition

Flip Animation Festival is looking for AFWM members to animate stings for this year's festival through their new competition; Flippin' Stings.
"Your task is to create a 10 second animation sting," say the FLIP organisers, who will be using the stings throughout the festival and during screenings.
"You will be credited as a contributor to FLIP Animation Festival, and there will be a nice prize for the best Flippin' Sting! To be announced at the festival's awards ceremony on 29th October."

  • The FLIP logo for 2011
  • Any of the sound-bites provided
  • The word/letters of the word 'FLIP'
The best stings will be used throughout the festival to introduce speakers, films and panel guests.
To enter I believe you have to join the Animation Forum which hardly a problem.

Completed elements for SCENE 1

I've now produced the scenery and completed his wardrobe.

I minimised the amount of work I need to do, I've created an evil collar for my character which I think is effective enough to do the job, I'll look into clothing a character some other time. Basically I could go on forever adding bits and improving but at the end of the day I want to get something complete so as to move on to the next project. The whole thing is one big research and learning process which is what slows everything down and I know my next venture will provide me with even more of this so not to worry, this is after all the first time I produced anything to this level.

Not to mention the second and third scenes I still need to set up.

Anyway, pleased with how it looks so far. Just need to focus on the dialogue now.
